Fashion designing: An Art

Designing is an art and designing high-end apparels for celebrities is a dream for many aspiring designing students. The field of fashion design and marketing is glamorous and also very demanding. One has to understand the requirements of the people as well as keep themselves updated with the latest trend.
Many fashion forward and trendy boys and girls get attracted towards the glamour shown on fashion week runways. But there is lot more to fashion design than just beautiful cloths that are presented. Like other careers fashion designing also requires training to learn the sketching, Apparel Cutting and sewing technique. To gain the knowledge of designing one needs to join a fashion designing school, where the art of apparel designing is taught.
The first step starts with sketching the diagrams which includes drawing figures for different body types. In the design the designer needs to mention the seam line, inside of the garment, add texture and other specific details. This sketch is further used for cutting and sewing techniques on the lines marked on the sketch. If you are highly motivated, creative, passionate about clothing and trends, and can express yourself well through drawing and sketching, then join the best fashion design course offered by FDDI School of Fashion Designing. At this government affiliated school of designing the students are taught the techniques and trends. Students here learn to use different fabrics and their combinations to create marvelous designs. The use of new tools and fundamental ideas are taught to students which help them to cut as well as sew each cloth with perfection. The students get hands on experience of designing, stitching and styling.
The exposure that is provided to students help them to understand the glamour world that is waiting for them outside the school. They are also given the opportunity to showcase their designs by organizing fashion shows. The institute’s tie-ups with leading brands help the students to get the corporate exposure through internships. Students during internships also get ample opportunities to work backstage with designers learning the entire look and feel required for professional models for the ramp shows. Besides classroom teachings students are made to travel to different places where they work with the craftsmen, to understand and learn our native crafts and embroideries.
Students after passing from FDDI get plentiful opportunity to become stylist, designers, entrepreneurs or retailers.
